Ifeoma Tete Mbuk holds a Master Certificate in Human Resources Management from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, an Ivy League institution. She is also an alumnus of the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, having completed an intensive executive education in Managing Customer Relationships. Additionally, she holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management from the University of Lagos and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Benin. She is an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (ANIPR), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) USA, and also a Senior Member of the Institute of Customer Service of Nigeria (ICSN).
Ifeoma started her professional career with United Bank for Africa Plc where she managed several portfolios in Retail Banking, Process Engineering, Commercial and Institutional Banking. She is an experienced manager and a seasoned professional with respected integrity.
Driven by a sincere passion to build, repair and strengthen the customer service industry, Ifeoma founded YFY Consulting, a service-oriented consulting firm in 2009. Prior to assuming her current position as CEO of YFY Consulting, she had a stint at the British Deputy High Commission as Head of Customer Services.
She has been exposed to courses and seminars in Customer Relationship Management locally and abroad and has written many articles in same subject area. Some of her write-ups have been quoted in Joanna Brandi’s CustomerCareCoach, Kelvin Stirtz’s AmazingServiceGuy.com, magazines and in-house training sessions. She is a Customer Care Consultant, published author, writer, trainer, and business advisory specialist. Her book, titled “A Handbook of Customer Service Quotes” has been well received in the market. She was also a Consumer Affairs columnist in Allure magazine of the Vanguard newspaper. To hone her people management skills, Ifeoma had extensive exposure at the Human Resources Division of Chevron Nigeria Limited.
By developing talents, enlightening the public and providing business consulting services in Customer Care and people management, she is confident that her aspiration to improve service efficiency in her country will be realized through her efforts in establishing YFY. Ifeoma is married and blessed with children.
